Dear Comardes
I feel that Tony should back Cruddas. He may not be on the left per say, but he has the most radical agenda of the six. I know it is son, but honestly supporting somebody who agrees with tution fees err!!

Given Cruddas' history as a Blairite apparatchik why should Tony Benn come out and offer support, indeed, why should a broad left coalition come together around Cruddas, his track record isn't brilliant when it comes down to it or is it?
No it's not.
Well, I was expecting someone to draw a parallel with Benn's own journey from the right to the left but it's all a moot point after the deputy election.
With that result, and John McDonnell's failure to force a ballot, in mind, is it a signal that the left is attacking from the wrong angle or appealing to the wrong target audience?
Is the party ready to move to the left or is it time to abandon any hope of democratic socialism and adopt a syndicalist attitude away from parliament via the unions?
